Stronger Support for Care Homes
The Bridlington Primary Care Network (PCN) operates a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) service using Engage Consult to support 23 local care homes, including residential, nursing, learning disability, and mental health settings.
As of October 2025, there are 591 residents living in care homes across the Bridlington area, with a total capacity of 768 beds.
Our SPOC service manages the majority of clinical queries without needing to go through GP practices, providing timely and efficient support for:
- Medication queries
- Clinical triage
- Care coordination
This approach reduces pressure on GP practices and ensures residents receive high-quality, continuous, and coordinated care.
