Patient Participation Group

Patient Participation Group

What is a Patient Participation Group (PPG)?

If you’re a registered patient, you can have your say by contributing to the Patient Participation Group (PPG). The PPG includes a committee which meets quarterly, together with a ‘virtual’ group, which receives minutes, news and contribute to gathering information.

What does it involve?

Being part of the PPG does not take up a lot of your time, but it can make a big difference. It gives you the opportunity to provide vital feedback, which helps develop practice services.

PPG Committee meetings occur quarterly. There is also an Annual General Meeting, to which all patients are welcome to attend.

Who can join?

Any registered member of the Practice can join the PPG and my be invited to join the Committee when vacancies occur.

We encourage diversity in our PPG, and therefore we are particularly looking for young people, workers, retirees, people with long-term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups to join us.

How do I join?

If you want to join our PPG, please speak to your Practice reception.
