Going Digital with the NHS App

The NHS App is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services. You can download it on your smartphone or tablet from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. If you prefer, you can also use the same services through a web browser by logging in via the NHS website.

To use the NHS App, you must be aged 13 or over and registered with a GP surgery in England or the Isle of Man.

You can use the NHS App to:

  • Order repeat prescriptions and choose a pharmacy to collect them from
  • Book, view and manage GP appointments
  • View your GP health record, including allergies and medicines
  • Book and manage COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Register or update your organ donation decision
  • Choose how the NHS uses your data
  • View your NHS number
  • Use NHS 111 online for instant advice or help finding medical services near you

Bridlington PCN host regular NHS App support sessions across the locality to help residents take control of their health—showing them how to manage appointments, prescriptions, and test results directly from their phones or other devices.

Because digital independence means better health outcomes.
